Bobbykro,

Wow! This is really amazing.

talmir, George Seurat is the artist who is most well known for pointillism… actually creating the style I believe.

Bobbykro, Seurats work was usually done in extremely large scale and I was wondering what the dimensions of this piece were.

The legs look a little small to me especially when compared to the head.

I have done a little pointillism and I am amazed that this is the same style!

How long did this take you?

Impressive detail in the rendering. I'm also curious about the dimensions. The legs do look somewhat small in comparison to the rest of her body. Was photo reference used for the woman?

very, very cool! I like the things coming out of her head and the whole thing really. like what most people have been saying, a close up would be awesome, it would be nice to see how you shaded everything. keep it up! :^^:

Good piece bobby. Just a couple crits-

-other people have mentioned it, but the head looks big and legs small. I'm assuming perspective? The "horizon" you have going through the piece doesn't reinforce this perspective, and it's also distracting, possibly because of this cuz it also makes her knees look floaty. Perhaps some soft cast shadows around the knees.

-also, the things coming out of her head look more like steel bars on a building and less like wires. I think with a stronger display of gravity, or recession into space, they would make the piece stronger. Plus, the "ribbed" one has a contrast that is contradicting the others, a little high key. Maybe take it down a little.

-the hand signature is a little distracting. Maybe some better composition so it isn't crowding the focal part of the piece on your next one.

Good work handling the medium. Post a larger version, and post some more work, I look forward to seeing it.

pointillism is such a tedious method of drawing :painting: (for me) but when it comes out looking as amazing as this, it must be worth it-GFS man

be careful with your eyes! Dont make too long sessions and be careful with the light. One of my past teachers had real trouble to see good after doing that for some years. He had really thick glasses and could not see sharp for more than 5 Meters. He warned us...

Great work! I think i will never make one of these... i cant find motivation to place all these point where they belong.
