this 10th installment is dedicated to cyrano, who asked me to post this last week. this is a self portrait from life of me wearing an israeli issued gasmask. wearing the mask while i was drawing posed an extra challenge...

Oh nice!!;)
How long did this little peice take you El Coro? What did you use for the colors? Is that marker? Whatever it is the color and texture of the mask is killer!

Hey Justin?
What type of scketch book paper do you use?
Is it one with very heavy poundage? So as to be able to
withstand using the acrylic washes, markes or inks you use? If so, what is the poundage? 65lbs? 80lbs? 120?
Thanks.

hehe, i also do colored sketches now, mostly indian ink. its better to learn colors with real materials than with digital paintings for me somehow. this is a very cool section el coro, your stuff is incredible. there are days, when i go online, just to see andrews and your stuff :)
