Would appreciate some help with 3d textures

Hi, im new to the forums.
I am doing an art GCSE and am planning my final peice!

What I am doing is turning a foam manakin into a dead, decaying body.

I would like to ask what ideas you have for giving the skin a decaying look, wat clours to use, and what materials would be good.

what you want to find are medical, autopsy, and crime scene photos of bodies that have the same type of wounds that your model is to have. There are many on the web if you search medical journals and like things. there are lots of pale blue, greens, yellows, but it all depends on the type of injuries and how long the person has been decaying. Be sure to post some pics i'd like to see it.
