Hi

I’m trying to find some good advice on how to get into the 3D industry, either in animation or games.
Every employer seems to require some previous experience in the industry. How do you get this experience in the first place? What are they looking for in a portfolio (or demo reel)?
I’m a fine arts graduate, with some professional experience in graphic design, and illustration. I’ve done some freelance work for some independent games, but nothing that’s ever gotten published yet. I have used 3D Max, Gmax, and I’m trying to lean Maya. I can use also use Corel Draw, Photoshop and Deep Paint 3D fairly well.
I’m now considering a master’s program in animation. Would anyone know of some good animation schools, that can orient me towards such a career, teaching me more than just how some software package works? Would an MFA really help me?

Here are some examples of my work. I would really appreciate comments and suggestions of any sort.
