Switzerland? Germany? Austria?

hello everybody
i'm new to these forums and excited about all the material to be discovered here. as you can see in my profile i've been working together with my partner as a freelance illustrator and storyboard artist in switzerland for some time. we mostly work for advertising companies and magazines. now i'm wondering if there is any demand for concept art and matte paintings in the german speaking part of europe. does anybody know about any (germany-, austria-, swiss-based software publishers, film companies? any resources on the net? with my interests i often feel like a complete alien in switzerland...

hello! you might have heard about games like far_cry, gothic, anno 15xx or 16xx, die siedler, spellforce and many more those were all done in germany so there´s quite a market but nobody can really help you with gettin in contact or landing gigs but yourself. btw i like this image:

of course i don't expect finding quick and easy solutions within these forums. just hints how one one can get in touch with people and companies working in the mentioned areas...
to Dan.v.D.: tank you for the kind compliment! b.t.w. this illustration is completely analog, done with coloured pencils, something i rediscovered, after seeing some of the fabulous drawings by David Hockney.
