How much could I expect to make an hour, making pixel art animations? I have little actual job experience, but have much experience doing animations for personal projects, and I'm in school for animation currently. Just hoping someone out there can give me a number of some kind, thanks.

Probably somewhere between $15 - $20hr. That's relatively low I know but most new artist hires in the CG industry (Games / TV / Film) will start at a salary between 25K and 40K (approximately). So that works out to around:
(at $32,500.00 / 52 weeks / 5 days / 8 hrs)
$15.65 hr
If you're a contractor you can ask for more because you're probably covering your own medical / dental etc. Most contractors charge 10 - 15% more than the base hourly wage of a similiar salaried employee.
Hope that helps...

That actually helps a lot, that's exactly what I needed. Thanks for replying

first - you posted in the wrong section.
second - unless you're getting a cotracted position, judging your potential income on what you may get paid is wrong and never works out like you plan.
I'm not an expert on pixel animations at all but i assume that unless you get a cotracted position they pay by animations completed. in which case you'll get paid based on how fast you are.
