Eh-Hi!
Thatīs not bad, mate. Confusing it is. Is this guy a freak in his own race with this ....leg(?). Thatīs what sure as hell get the attention. Fist it looks like some kind of centaur os stuff. Then it looks like itīs just on one side.
I like the texture and the way the cloth falls. The hand holding the weapon is ok. So, itīs a pretty good picture.
Got more?

Thanks, I really wanted to make something no one has seen before, Its a whole different type of creature. Everyone does centaurs and griffins, its boring to create something someone else has thought of. I wanted something unique. Ill probably be posting more stuff later on. Thanks for the comments.

very cool design, but your choice of colors is realy hurting its overall appeal, based on your color decisions, you should spend more time studying color theory, start with the complimentarty colors and build your pallet from there. in the meantime try concentration on a really nice monocromatic version that comunicates the form and texture, then experiment with simple colors on top of that, good work and good luck

Hey Android Ive seen your work and its really nice, thanks for taking the time to give me some advice. Although Im not sure what u were trying to point out with the color scheme. I started out with Purple and green which if im not mistaken are
complimentary colors. I added hints of other colors to give it more variety. Ive been doing alot of monochromatic pieces and i wanted to try something out of the ordinary. Can u elaborate on what u meant. Thanks.

please let me elaborate on our friend the color wheel-
comlimantary colors care located on the opposite sides of the color wheel- red-green purple-yellow orange-blue,
when you combine these colors they become nuetral, when placed side by side they become more vibrant,
using a limited pallet try making a painting using only the two complimantary colors, and try to see how many varations, shades and hues you can get by mixing only two colors, you may be suprised with what you end up with.

I was using the following program as a reference for my colors

I like purple and green. Theres some cool characters in Wildcats that use it. But thanks for your help. When I have time, Im gonna revise the coloring and repost it. It would be cool if I could get your comments on the revision. Thanks for the advice.

The monochromatic one shows some nice details...I agree with Android, the colours seem off....just not quite right..

I think I see the problem. The color wheel you were using was set to "visual" which is based on the colors we see in light (RGB).
When mixing paint, Red Yellow and Blue are primary, as opposed to Red Green and Blue for visual. Check that drop-down menu where it says visual and see what the other color pallette options are.
I also agree with Android... a nice piece, but it seems as if the colors are too "straight out of the tube". I often have this problem myself where I want to put all of the colors in the rainbow in a peice, but I think you will find that when you limit yourself, and say, start out by saying: I will only use greens and blues, and every shade thereof, you will get much better results. Of course you can always use browns and grays.....
