Hi all
I did this painting last week and posted it here. You all pointed out issues with it, so I decided to go back and fix what I could. I have posted the newer version, along with the old version so you all could see the difference.
It's an overall OKAY drawing, but I wanted to re-do it because I like the subject matter. I don't plan on re-doing this one again. I'm going to move on.
This is my 3rd Photoshop painting.
Here's what I did different:
1. I took out the character I was least satisfied with and put in a warrior chick instead.
2. I fixed some of the porportion issues, but the composition and overall design remained the same.
3. I actually did a b&w underpainting (it took a WHOLE day) this time, and it was worth it. I feel that it has more tonal harmony this time.
4. I experimented with different brushes (I'm a photoshop newbie). Instead of just using "normal" and "multiply," I fiddled around with "color burn," "color dodge," "hard light," and "soft light" as well.
New version:

Old version:

Looking forward to your comments and critiques :$
