Hello, I just recently found this site, so this will be my first post. I've been trying to teach myself for awhile, and in doing so I've found it nearly impossible to get any techincal feedback.

Here is a a more finished sketchbook drawing, that seems to fail for some reason. Posting it to an art archive, it took longer for the moderators to approve than the others and it gets much fewer hits than other similar drawings.

So, I was wondering if anyone could point out this or that about it:

I like this piece. Overall good rendering, but i'm wondering what is your modivation. Is this based on a story and are they're characters? If not, is it a dream or just something cool you just wanted to draw? It appears there's some giant frozen in time, or an ancient, alien monument?

Needless to say, interesting illo, keep up the good work.

You're headed in the right direction. :)

(...this is my first post here as well so hello everyone :D )

It's some sort of day dream image that doesn't really have anything else behind it. It's suppose to be a figure, of nomal size, dragging parts. I wanted to make it be more bulky and cumbersome, but it didn't really happen.

I was messing around with distorted perspertive here, which I've been playing with recently, and some texture.

Blah, I need more caffeine.
