View Full Version : Brush angle in Painter 9

Two related questions:
1) Are there any hotkeys (or can they be set up) to change the brush angle for elliptical brushes?

2) Are there any drawing tablets you know of that can interpret angle input from the stylus (not tilt, just rotational angle, corollary to the angle setting in the Brush Creator).

I'm used to using flat or bright oil brushes, and a lot of the point of them is that you can make different marks by rotating the "chisel" shape this way and that. I can't seem to really emulate this in Painter.

I'm using Painter 8 now, but please answer for 9 as well if it's different.

1.) No keyboard shortcuts to change brush angle. Not within Painter 8 or Painter IX.
