M1117 armored security vehicle
created for a training demo, 3dsmax5
lighting is crappy but its not the finished product.

I dont think its crappy lighting, nice and clear for showing the model. I like the sharp detail on the tyre tracks. Are they modeled or bumped?

yeah its bumped with a tiled map, i guess i meant not correct lighting, i was going for a quick GI fake. it turned out ok, but ill still have to back setup corect lighting

you need to check out the faked radiosity max uses, it works really well. IM me, and i can show some cool things with it. I like the mapping on the tires, very cool.
one thing you might do is chamfer the dges a bit, which will allow the light to play with them a bit more (use the edit poly tools, easier to control).
also, the turquoise window slot stands out alot more than i think it should, my eyes are directed right to it. tone down the saturation a bit, or add some more green to it.

heres is the lates version, still not complete though, ive got to model the inside and finish up the turret guns. as far as poly count its pretty high i like camerfer boxes (nice edges), but ive made a lowpoly version that looks pretty close to high res version, but i cant seem to find the file, but ill post it as soon as i find it.http://www.visualwerx.com/Images/Dump/Textron.3dRender0160.png
