Both schools have very good names although I would say that Sheridan is a little more well-known.

Both schools also have very good campuses.

Emily Carr is in Vancouver on Granville Island. I'm told that it is a wonderful cultural centre. Vancouver also has a reputation of being more relaxed than Toronto. This might be due to British Columbia being a marijuana capital of the world. :P

Toronto is much more fast-paced, bigger and colder than Vancouver. I know that they have good museums and an excellent party scene (I know that isn't what you're coming here for but you gotta live it up @ least ONCE in awhile :P).

I'm still waiting for Emily Carr actually to give me a reply about my application. They are being very slow about it while I am being pressed by my other school to send in my acceptance contracts. That school is Max the Mutt and it's also in Toronto. It's a little more expensive @ $6,500 a year. But the teaching staff is first-rate and they truly have a passion for animation. http://www.maxthemutt.com

Thank you :) ,otherside. I am also waiting for the decision from Emily. Are u applying for their foundation year? what I have learned is that, it can not gurantee the enrollment for the secound year on certain programs such as animation. cuz I am still interested in that baa program of sheridan and its art fundies has been devided into different trends. so hence, I might choose sheridan in the end. Just hope my families could secound that.. :\

and plus, for the link you added, it's really a good animation school. Is there any other schools like that in Toronto? I wanna put more options in my list for next year. Thank you again! :)
