Slowly nearing completion of a pic i've been working on tonight since i got my t.ablet. Yup - a couple of anatomical issues, primarily with her neck, torso, arm, waist.

Also - anyone know why Painter 6 would lag exactly one brushstroke behind? I've cleaned out a lot of downloaded stuff plus run adaware for spyware. Still having a problem. My system's a P4 1.8Ghz with 30Gb memory and 768MB RAM.

C&C appreciated.

...first thing i notice is the right eye(her left eye) it looks like its a little to far to the right.. just moving it over would help. other thing i notice is her torso, like you said. looks as if there should be a little of her right leg in view. just the way its drawn. maybe you could keep as is, and just add more hip and butt. cool drawing... should look sweet colored! some brushes just lag no matter how fast your system... so maybe thats it.. i dunno, i dont know too much about painter.

I agree about the eye and torso. The way you have her leg positioned would show some of her other leg. Also be careful with the placement of the bellybutton if you plan to show it. It signals the center line of the torso. Putting it in the wrong place can throw everything else off.

I like the completed hand a lot, I still have trouble with hands. Her overall stance is a good one as well.

Here's the most recent version of the file:

I've made changes to the face, breasts and lower torso - her left eye has been moved closer to her nose, breasts fixed, and lower torso filled out to prepare for me adding her right leg a little later.

Does this help at all?

Here's an image you can use as a sort of reference, though it's not the same pose.. hope the load doesn't take too long.

Thanks - here's what has come of it:

http://www.spacylittlecowgirl.net/2003/chunli2-prog4.JPG

image expanded, right leg added, left hand enlarged slightly, right hand redrawn, chest redrawn. Someone on another board also mentioned part of the problem was that the viewer sees her upper torso in an upward perspective, and her lower torso from straight on.... So I've tried to fix that by giving the viewer a little more to see. There's a long way to go, but what do you think?
