I've been doing some investigating and have almost completely decided that Capilano College (the one in North Vancouver) is where I really want to go. Part of my hesitation is that in a few days my class will be going from here down to Vancouver to look at various schools, Capilano being one of them, and I want to be absolutely sure where I want to go.

Anyways, I've looked at the courses they offer and liked what I saw and their tuition was much less then the other schools I'd looked at and actually concievably inside my range.
I want to go into their commercial animation program and possibly into their digital animation program after that (not sure about that, it's a possibility). Animation is something I really want to get into.

I would like to know from anyone who goes or has gone there:
How difficult is it to get in?
What's the best way to start improving my chances now?
What are the classes like?
What is the atmosphere like?
Do you think that taking this course would be a smart decision to make?

Even though I'm a grade 12 student I'm still many credits shy of graduating, I'm already 19 however. Seeing as the local school district frowns on student in their 20's and beyond my current plan is to once the school year is out, go to work full time wherever for a year and start saving, take my GED at the local college, then once I pass that to apply to Capilano.

Friend of a friend studies there. Let me get some information off from him.

But I'm sure there are some who will be able to give you first hand knowledge here on CA.
