Hey, Ive been a member at CA for almost 2 years now... I've been visitng the site almost everyday for about 3 months now though trying to pick up as many tips as I can to improve my skills. I'm 16 and have recently started thinking about seirousely pursuing a career in concept art.
So hopefully you all can help me with as much c&c as possible... heres a couple drawings, each took me about 2 1/2 - 3 hours
This one I would like to know how I could make the slime falling from the growth in the cieling have more shine to it

I know the gun and uper body is mis-porpotioned in this picture but I was trying to emphsise his gun and wanted him to look big with longer arms

I think the angel looks all wrong in this pick but can't tell why, any help?
