Victorian Steampunk is any work of modern Science Fiction which is: set in the Victorian-Edwardian period; imitates the style, themes, and/or content of Scientific Romance, Gothic horror, and Imperialist Adventure; and may use characters from those genres as well. Examples include Dinotopia by James Gurney, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen comic, and The Difference Engine by Willam Gibson and Bruce Sterling.

well, I used to play a lot of Castle Falkenstein, and it's a steampunk era RPG. I remembered this session where our characters were chasing a bad guy and running away from the guards... there were gizmoes involved in the story, but I panicked cause I thought I wouldn't be able to finish in time, so I couldn't remember exactly what they were. So there. (that giant blob on the top right is a portal, just so you know)

fipse...i dont know why you think its crap...i thought it was a good direction to go...the subject matter and idea is appropriate....the handline of the media reminds me of old french posters ala T. Latrec...I think its a legit concept...you said a lot.

Thanks for your kind words Jason, I appreciate them very much.

It isn´t the idea I have problems with, it´s more the execution ... there are some flaws I could have avoided if I´ve been more apt with colours and Painter. But I suppose deep in my little heart I´m more of an illustrator but a classical Concept-artist ;).
