whatch out boy, she'll chew you up... in ode to the 80's super group Hall & Oates, i've prepared this image. its, my girlfriend, and a shark, overlayed in photoshop and painted from the reference on a 30x30 canvas. although i cannot vouch for the shark, my girlfriend isn't really a maneater, but the person i can most easily make model for me. hope you like...

great,,, thanks for getting THAT stuck in my head.

the second one "close up" looks different. its warmer, and the transition from the shark to face is more subtle and readable. did you intend this? is it just darker or did you pump up the contrast?

looks really cool.

I agree with Lono. Looks trippy, and really nice! How long did this take you?

Hey El Coro I think that's a really cool Idea how you tweak stuff in photoshop and then use that as a reference. Do you print those out when you do that or do you just look on the screen. I noticed you did this with the warped city streets type paintings you did too. These are all really cool and unique...I might have to steal your technique of photoshop manipulation for reference in the future...it's really cool!

Awesome color contrasts. I'm confused by the mouth area, where the shark's mouth is shown in profile. That fuzzy area is the only thing that makes me think twice. The rest is great.
