this is a moon base concept for an anime called mutineers' moon. kinda old school and boring, but...
crits welcome.

Very nice piece!

I think some of the rough strokes in the Earth, and sky contrast too much with the tightness of the base buildings. I recommend tightening them up a bit. I also think the sky (space) could emphasize the blues and purples more and the grey less. I almost wonder if it would be better with just a pure black background with very precise stars of slightly different hues... stars can be any color!

I like the roughness of the ground though, and the buildings are great!

Keep posting!

By the way....

Your site is really GREAT. Your stuff is very solid. I love the robot vs. the giant space crab. In fact, I did a similar piece a little while ago:

Ted,

Yes, the ADV production staff is finally posting. Good stuff dude. Like I said to you before you have a good eye for light, shape and value, and texture detail. Yo, post some of your airport paintings. Everyone must see!

Thatīs a fine and very terrestic looking moonbase. The folks have a point. Nice textures. Sometimes I wonder how I got a job in the bizz if I look around here.

Please post more and if so, please do a tutorial on how you do this. Thanks.
