It has been a long time since I have tried to create an image in an American comic book style, but I thought Id give it a go again.
So some fan art it is, Domino, a character from back when I still read comics 10 or so years ago.
I’m still kind of new to the forums so if this should have been posted somewhere else (like beginners) then my apologies in advance

it looks like the belt is sorta just floating there. you should try to push it more to one side to emphasize movement.

im having a really hard time figuring out what is going on in the bg.
it looks as if she caught herself from falling into a spike pit, below sidewalk level. and those are buildings above her?
that is a guess though.
if this is the case, give a little more indication that we are looking up and not down at the environment.
a moon perhaps.
also try separating the pit from the bg with some value differences.

iAn : The belt is a bit to one side but obviously not enough, Ill see what I can do about that, thanks.

DSillustation: The angle is looking up, they are buildings in the bkg and stars in the sky. I’ll see what I can do about making that a little more obvious, but I don’t really want to add a moon as I didn’t take it into account with the lighting.
The ‘pit’ is just suppose to be a wall, she has jumped from a nearby height to get over it. I’ll see what I can do about making that more obvious also. Thanks for the comments.
