did these about 8 years ago for a toy /animated series Pitch....
these were sculpted over wind up mechanisms with ProPoxy and toy parts....
these are screengrabs from an old video (Yup they actually walked and moved around)

ha ha! done and done! what are the rules on that? can i cast it and make a couple of um just incase i mess up on one? im but a poor artist and its probbaly the most money iv spent at one time this month so i cant afford to buy another one.

the white ones are 15.99 each.
They are almost 7"tall wit 10 points of movement and 8 different hands Iwould not bother with casting them it is a waste of time plus the peice is built like a brick house so you would have to break it in order to make castings,
I am a poor artist myself but the math never works out on that.....
I think if you plan it you will have no problems, You can take a pic of it and just sketch over it?
there are a bunch of forums where people post their custom toys it is quite a n interestign phenomenon..... right now....here is a custom Remote Controlled Car that I designed that is featured in the VinylKlash2 Show at the CPOP gallery in Detroit...
