hey thanks for the info. it is suposed to be hair. i was just trying to keep the poly count low. i really dont like the way it turn out. the hair anyways. i might redo the hair. i do still need to texture it though so it might turn out better after it has a texture.

maybe if you're gonna redo it you could make a mohawk or something? or maybe spines or something, i dunno

well the hair has a religous and military part in the race. only the males have hair. and you have to be in the military. witch is also part of their religous beliefs. here is a pic of what my character looks like. one is in his civi clothes and the other is his basic battle armor. i just have gotten the hair to look good on the model. oh and the poly count is 3,500
