Hey dudes,

I have a question for ya, I wanna learn how to do custom painting in the Automotive area, and I really have no idea how to even start looking into getting into it.

I'm located in MN, so if anyone does know any schools around here or places that would be willing to hire a newb like me that would be great.

Also Any websites on Custom Painting would be awesome. I haven't been able to find much useful stuff..

Uber much love!

I'm not sure if there is such a place to formally teach it. I'd be willing to bet that there's probably not a BFA program in it but you never know. I've always thought that this was a craft (and a damn hot one at that!) handed down to people within its own confines.

Lemme check with the folks in our area here & see if there is any sort of vocational schools perhaps.

You want the school of "build a tape & poly paint booth and buy a minijet", there's a good one in your garage. If you don't have the cash get a job sanding cars in a body shop. I don't know of any schools that teach custom painting, it's all geared for production/insurance work.
