Okay guys, I was kind of sick of just posting self-portraits and crappy creature sketches, so I wanted to give you guys a taste of what I do daily and plus I'd like a hell of a lot of critiques, if a pro or someone here could tear me a new asshole, I would appreciate that more than anything. Here it is.

i'm really struggling with humans myself at the moment, so i better keep my mouth shut. but i absolutely love your dog sketches. i can tell you really must have enjoyed them.
my only crit on those would be the first of the sketches, cause i can't really tell, whether it's a cushion or a dog (the latter i guess); on the other hand, the chair looks very nice to me :D hope to see more! :chug:

Retro - Yeah, they are fun to do, I found myself starting to get into a predictable rut while drawing them though so I took a break from the dog sketches for a bit. As for the thing on the chair, it was the dog, until he jumped off the chair. I wanted to finish up the chair sketch though so I kept going and just left the ghost.
Amador - Thanks, just practice really. I cross-hatch like made when I sketch using the mechanical pencil, so just build up in layers. Not really much else I could say, sorry :D Thanks for the crit on the ears, I intend on doing some ear studies, the lips and the ears on the face are my two big trouble spots. I neglect the ears though and don't draw them as much, to my misfortune.
Here's a few more candid classroom studies I did and acouple hand studies...

Those first ones you posted r so much like my first dayz of animation artschool drawings(bout 4 years ago now)its scary..lol....Those dog studies r my faves specially that second one, theres some real nice looseness to the strokes..no real crits cause these r the learning years, just keep at it man, dont be afraid to do alot of construction build yer drawing from the inside out,do tons of life drawing(NUDE life drawing classes r the most important),your gonna have what it takes..;)
