* beats sycocat to bloody pulp *

eh wha ? ooh ... sorry :\

The phoenix and the gryphon piece (the seperat ones) are really cool ! The others are a bit stiff, and could use some anatomy practice ! And while I'm at it ... perspective study & drawing from life will help as well :) !

I'm not too good with colored pencils ... but, experiment a bit with blending colors, putting several layers on top of each other of different colors ... using different combinations for light/shadow and other areas that are supposed to be darker or whatever, not just pushing harder with the same color ... try things out on a scrap piece of paper, don't ruin the good stuff with experiments :).

Post some more !

How about trying some life drawing to really help kick those pictures into shape?

Your heads are a bit strange, even for something so stylized, they are always seen at the same angle, and feel a bit awkward with how you're breaking them up.

*pulls nightVision off Natasha and beats him/her to a bloodly pulp pie!*

At spigging last!

yeah, they all suck...as usal... JOKE!! or is it.... yes it is..

You've certainly improved a bit since ya pics on elfwood, tho the dragon thingy one was good, need to lose the weird text tho, or place it better.

That picture of you is pretty damn cute lol, i can't draw cute to save my life *annoyed* and that gyphon one is pretty good actually, one of ya best i'd say, still things wrong with it but they're not noticable right away.

I agree with skull dog, i have that problem with putting all the faces the same way and you really need to break out the anatomy studies, draw big bad breast!! ..i mean beasts... woo. well draw breasts too, everyone likes breast, how do ya think artkitty has so many views lol.

anyay, draw draw draw!! :yayca:

haha Thank you all. I'll start working on anat. drawings then. I've been wanting to take portrait classes over the summer. Not sure if I'll have time though. Oh well, ^^ I know there's some anatomy book around here somewhere. But yes, thank you for the tips!
