Welcome to CA!
Couple critiques right off the bat. The two images are basically the same pose, they look flat, more like outlines rather than forms. I see you used a lot of blending on the second one, as for right now I think you should leave the blending behind and work on the pose proportions and anatomy of the subject before the details. You can render the hell out of a badly shaped figure, and it will still look bad! Post some more since I can't really critique you well enough on just 2 posts! If you want, I can give you some anatomy resources to study that will help you improve tons!
Welcome to CA and keep it up.

While I'm waiting for the images to load, one thing: a good courtesy rule on these forums is to display your images directly in your post, not as links. (imageshack allows this) I think you'll get more views and crits.
ok. . .and hey - that's not bad at all! You seem to have a pretty good grasp of the forms, but ian is right about flatness. I think what would help you the most here is to start trying to think in 3d of the complete forms. I know drawing a straight profile is sometimes tempting, but it's rather unrewarding for the viewer. Drawing forms is muuuuch harder, but in the end, you'll be much better off. A great place to start with this concept is saveloomis.org (http://www.saveloomis.org).
Don't get discouraged by what seem to be harsh crits - they're the most helpful, and everyone is here to help one another. Welcome!
