hey, I havent posted anything here in a while, so I thought I'd put these up. A friend of a friend of mine asked if I could draw him some stuff for his new online game at www.romnation.net (http://www.romnation.net). It's a text base game that got popular really fast, and he thought it was important to have images for the characters.

The 4 classes I have to draw are commoners(knights), barbarians, outcasts, and enlightened ones(priests). This first one is the knight.

and this one is the barbarian. I derived the basic costume from Wes9000's gladiators concepts. I thought it fit really well with the barbaric type character.

2 more to come.
Lemme know what you think :D

The first one is really great it has alot of character and shape...

the second looks flat, the leggings look like a cut out doll. The most shape is in the arms and chest.

Cool looking none the less.

thanks for the C&C Chad =) I see what you mean about the legs. I could try adding more detail and definition to them.

perhaps some of the flatness seems to come from the dark black outline on his shoulders.

the axe blade has some really niec texture, would like to see more detail in the handle

knight is a very well rounded piece, reminds me of a book illustration, just can't think of which artist
