This is deffinatly the best collab iv ever taken part in. these colors are great, but even greater was luxun's dedication.. i made him redo things like a million times to the point there was around 5 versions ( updates ) of the colors.
i am very happy that luxun has taken his time to fix all my stupid little nitpicks, like forgetting to color some bolts, and other small crap like that.
without further ado here it is:
lines: me, manslauter
colors: luxun

I think that you have got your drawing skillz down pretty good but you need help with your rendering, in the War Hammer pics they always have a focal point and they always render, put contrast, and detail that point that most. there is too much colour everywhere, its blinding, warhammer pics always use alot of black to push everything apart from the focus back, you just put colour everywhere. Your main light source is non existent and it needs a back ground of some description. Its easy to get lost in details but remember to zoom out and look at the big picture.
Hope this helps.

well luxun did the coloring, but ur suggesting we darken the 2 people further back more?
did i do anything wrong with the pencils? exept not creating a focal point?
well at the start i wanted the main guy to be the green dude, but as i drew in the other 3 characters they becamse just as important as him.
why does that happen? its because i dont shade, and dont have contrast?

its a big scene here lol. the drawing looks good, but the coloring blurried out the general feeling of the pic. somehow, it looks like the spaceship in the horizon is as important as the monster in bottom left. i think that maybe the green guy doesnt pop out of the drawing, maybe if there could be some kind of distance the green guy will be much more obvious. i think its a good drawing, but there is too much objects, your abilities arent shown at their full potential :P
just my opinion

the easiest way to get around this from this starting point is to make the bg really dark and the other three guys have dark red power armour, the green guy will stand out against their armour colour and they will receed due to them being darker than the front guy.
BTW that laser eyeball couldn't shoot the bloke on the floor.

damn this battlefield stuff is really complicating.
my colorer did the lazer beam, and made it lead right into the dead dude's head wound. i thought that painted a bloody picture in ur mind so i left it in.
it seemed more gory with the lazer going right into the wound then with no lazer :teeth:
wow this has been moved to the crit forum :x
since so then il take full advantage.
heres what im gonna tyr doing on my next battlefield:
there is going to be a black background, and the ground everyone is gonna be standing on will be more visible.
the peoples will stand in such a way kind of creating a pyramid in terms of composition.
/ \
/ \ ( nevermind, the pyramid didnt come out right )
____/\_/\_/\ /\_/\_/\__
it would be kind of like that, basically each triangle represents a dude, and there will be that 1 big dude on top that will cover all of the inside of the pyramid, and little dudes are gonna be sticking out the sides.
that might solve my focal point problem, would it?

Lets get some foreground, middlegound, and background here. Its coming across as being very flat. That solid red background doesn't help in this regard.
