I don't mean to belittle anyone here, but jumping at this guy's project seems like a foolish idea. It's fascinating that he can gain interest simply by saying that he is making a "new xbox game". It would be more valid if there was a website, or supporting documentation, but frankly, I'm not convinced. I could post a million threads with multicoloured text, an email address and a game title name. It takes a lot more than a game title and an MSN address to get a game done and if he's looking for concept artists it's likely (not nessicarily true, but likely) that there are few team members aside from himself and there is actually very little in the way of progress or design documentation completed at this point. I don't mean to bash anyone, but please, let's be serious. Provide some more information please! and for artists: Wait until you know a little more about it before you jump into it.
A lot of people think they can start an independant team, but it takes dedication, talent, and long-labourous work. Even then, it often doesn't work out. If your project is legit, Volocity, I commend you and would love to hear more about it. I commend you on being able to enlist members with posts like this when I can't enlist anyone with legitimate posts on a game project. Damn.
Good luck to all of you, in any case.

lol funny post last poster.. just thought i'd point this out...
'would love to learn more'
Just because someone replies and asks to add them to Msn or get in contact doesnt mean that they are signing up. The poster put the vital information in the thread, and if someone was reallllly looking for some work to do, they would find out if it was up their alley. I do agree that some posts could use some more info though :) its up to the poster if they put it in the thread.
ps. Wasnt bagging anyone, and last poster, peace :^^;:

Hey. It's no problem. It was more a comment on my wish to see more information and possibly a website, because I love browsing independant game sites and seeing other's work. I was also complimenting on the fact that the simplicty worked and that I wish I had people who were even interested. Sorry to anyone who saw me as comming across aggressively. My bad. But seriously, good luck. I hope one of us suceedes. More likely the original poster by the looks of it. Damnit! :)

I would like to second that :)
I flamed him on some other reply, does conceptart.org have an age requirement?

The org is known for bashing other people. I learned this the hard way. . Sad really They bashed my game idea up but that just made me work harder...Anyhow I wish Volosity luck in his/her adventure as I embarked on a similar adventure developing Darksoul a game for the Xbox 2. But Volosity will soon find out that it’s not all fun and games. This is serious work that requires 110% out of the creator. I had to be a very good organizer, business man, and leader and so on. The task of developing a game of DS magnitude is hard and cannot be done alone.
Good Luck and don’t give up…

I have trouble taking seriously the efforts of people who can't spell any word longer than 7 letters and who use the word "u" at least once every post on their own (rather sparse) forum. It's not a very proffessional image.
Even "Demon: The Awakeing" is spelt wrong... it's awakening. Is that deliberate?
That said, good on ya for trying.
