painting with a tablet pc?

Hi!

I´m considering buying a tablet pc for making concept art within a photoshop or painter progamm environment. But I´ve got some questions concerning the possibilities of a tablet pc and of course which tablet pc can give me what I need:

- which brands are pressure sensitive?
- am I able to produce high res paintings ( approx. 3000*3000pixels, 300dpi)without perfomance lacks? Or do I have to wait till the next generation is comming up?
- which tablet pc can give me what i need? :)

my brother's been blabbing about tablet PCs. To me they are far much better than laptops, when it comes to college. but for concept drawing and such, it would work great, but i dunno which one you need.
