Not really finally finished, more like a beginning I'll probably develop until hairs turn grey on belly.
Edit: The wrecked version, a 1 hour paint over a render of the intact ship.

man that title just begs to be looked at. I like the piece, the empty spartan layout makes one very curious as to whats going on in this place.

I'm not really sure what this is or is for, but there's a lot of haze depicted, but we can see all of the stuff with stark clarity, which throws off how it sits within the background (it doesn't appear to).
Pretty cool.

I like the overall image although everything seems a tad too bright for my tastes. But given the title, I suppose a bit of fancy with the colors and such can be forgiven. ;)
What I'm really lacking though is a sense of scale. I want to say the object is vast, like a big space station, but looking at the main body I can't help but think it's a robot head and just about as big. I'm not sure how you could play up the scale without adding any more elements, or even if it's necessary (haven't checked your link so I don't know the scope or context of the image)...but I thought I'd throw my thoughts on that out there.

The animated version has little ships swinging around it - a lot like in homeworld - which sells the idea of scale.
