Pirates or Ninjas?

It is an age old question that hopefully you guys will help me get to the bottom of:Which are cooler, :pirate: or :ninja++: ? Post your opinion and your reason, like so:

Pirates, because nobody tells them what to do.

Pirates - Sex, Drugs and ....some sort of music you do on a galleon together with drunken fellows <_<

na....i like Pirates more because they usualy have way more "character" than your averge Ninja ^^

This topic has been debated for centuries, but I think I have the ultimate answer. Pirates are definitely cooler than Ninjas. Ninjas are all professional and disciplined, and it just doesn't seem as cool as a bunch of drunk and rowdy pirates, shooting stuff, swearing, and partying all the time. Ninjas have cooler looking weapons, but I think it's only to make up for their personal uncoolness. Pirates have more powerful weapons (cannons and muskets could take out anyone with a sword), but it’s all out of necessity, not to make up for uncoolness. Of course, there is one thing cooler than a Pirate, and that's an Alaskan wolverine hunter, but that's a different topic :confident
