Old Grandpappy Salaryman sent this from Morocco in the early part of last century.
Went mad not much later, raving about the 'Elder Ones' or some such nonsense.... still, lovely chap.
Anyway, will have to dig out more of these...

excellent man, i really like this.
my only crit would be more texture on the barrels and tentacles. something to distinguish the objects from each other.

really cool.
i would love to see a giant crease right through the middle, as if it had been folded.

Nice. The worn look is very well done. The pic reminds me a bit of Hergé's style.
Maybe the tentacles could be a little shinier and wet looking?

Oh man, this is awesome. I love that slight brown haze around the line work ala Arthur Rackam. Dan's suggestion of the fold is a very good one. I'd almost go further and have both a horizontal fold and vertical fold as if it was folded into fourths. But who knows, it may distract from the beautiful line work and overall composition.
I really love this piece and am eager to see more.

Very nice piece, I love the feel of the dry heat.
DS' suggestion of the crease down the middle would fit it perfectly.
Do you have a website by any chance?
