My crappy laptop monitor and a lower res scan are making this a bit hard to see over all, but I'll give it a whack, feel free to yell at me.

Is that done with a stippling? If so, that's looking nice, don't be afraid to really get some spread out dots going even in the lighter areas. Blank white areas are boring.

I'd say make the shirt dark, to match the hair, it seems a little top heavy with the white shirt.

Really nice job with the expression, it feels like a very natural emotion for a young child.

yeah this is done in the strippling technique for an illustration class. once i'm done and turn it in i'll probably add some hatching and what not.....dots take for-EVER..but it comes out good.
