Approaching the crit`s week i am going to post some of my character's drawings in this section since my sketchbook isnīt visited too much. :^^;:

Some of these characters are for a comic book that i am preparing with one of my friends.

fun stuff. I think your third sketch is the best.

as for a critique... the biggest problem I see with your work is your blending. Perhaps you're not sure about your lighting... perhaps its a case of not knowing when to leave some things flat or the technique on how to softly blend stuff in. Theres also a problem with staying clean I see. Keeping the image sharp can be important and I think it would make your work looks a LOT better.

Just keep plugging away at it! :confident

Thanks for reply!

Yeah sometimes i didnīt know where is the light until the last moment. By the way i donīt usually blend any of my drawings, all of theses are done with thin strokes in HB pencil using a5 paper.

Thanks.

Another crit?

These are very nice with a lot of character in the faces. In the third one, the little, tiny hands are almost completely lost in the body, as well as some anatomy issues with the arms (uniformly bulgy where there really aren't muscles), shoulders (tiny deltoids on very wide shoulder base), and foreshortening (the forearms should eclipse at least a little of the upper arm).

The color one, as you suspect, is the weakest, with the random washy hue shifts and poor value definition.

Keep posting, they're looking good.

Thanks dogfood! I didnīt realise some of my mistakes but itīs true. The next time sure i wonīt do for sure :dad: . Bythe way, some of these scans have a poor cuality. In paper have a better look.

Oh, I can definately believe that. My scans are even worse than this (it's embarrassing).
