Hi All,
This is a WIP. The formula ( I know ) is work from back to front. I'm following it for the most part, but, I can't help but jump around the piece to keep my attention level up.
So, the buildings in the background arn't more than roughed in. The middle ground is almost there, as is some of the foreground.

Very nice work sofar.

I'd say work on the yellow backdrop buildings a bit more. I think the contrast is too great between the modeled (right?) pyramid-ish shapes and the foreground.

the smoke also looks not very realistic.. and I think the sky could use more hues and/or color variation.

kickass work tho, be sure to post your progress:D

That certainly is beautiful work BC1967. I'm making an Egyptian DM map for UT2k3 at the moment and it also has an orange sunset sky (pics on my site here (http://saturn.five.tripod.com))

i really like it. it's not only a cool concept, but an excellent painting too. the details are so clean, esp in the foreground and vehicle, and the sky is shaping up well.

i'd change that bright red, scratchy stuff on the tall building on the far left - it looks wierd.

might want to add more contrast to the rocky-cliffs, esp in the right.

awesome work bc1967
