Okkkkaayyyy... I am finally doing it, opening up my very own ca.org sketchbook thread. I won't be able to post daily, but I hope maybe weekly, because I dont have a scanner. Well, I have one but it's teh shit! ;)
About me: I am henrik, 17 from germany and like drawing. Gosh, I hate these intro-things =D
I am always happy about every kind of comment, thanks :)

gudn taaach O_O where the hell is borken ? :D
WELCOME :yayca:
good looking stuff this is... like that hatching and how it make the volume touchable.. looking 3D
u can do some easy studies to learn and understand more about foreshortening and the creation of 3D illusions*volumina once u know how to allign easy geometrie.. its not that hard to allign and orient more complex geometrie in 3Dspace*orbit
keep up ! /m\ :yayca:

Lookin' good. You show good form with shading. I think if you got your anamoty a little tighter and put the two together you would have awesome pieces.

thanks guys :)
ssb: bei münster, naja eigentlich eher an der holländischen grenze ;)
Imajus: yeah, anatomy. I am struggling ;) But that's why I do life drawing now :) And thanks for the encouragement.
P.S.: this is the last finished piece I did.. It's almost a year old though.

Hey Henrik whazzup ? ;)
always good to see someone who spreads his art over different places :D
You should work a bit on your anatomy proportional wise :) and maybe get a bit darker in the values so we can see the pictures a bit better :)
anyways keep it up...you will get way better over time if you keep drawing every day ;)

just trying to get comments ;)
proportions.. well , yes , i know. :nohope:
values: well, I usually go very dark in some places, but scanning sometimes ruins a lot of it.. Well, probably more, me not being able to scan properly ;)
oh, here is a quick glass study I forgot to post last time. about 30mins I think. I know the perspective is all off and skewed, but it was more a shading and lighting study :)

but it was more a shading and lighting study :)
dont use this as an excuse...if you study a object you should study every aspect of it...from the form to the shading and so on. Anyways i think you were able to achieve a really good "glass" effect ;)

is that kanji i saw on the first pic? are you studying japanese?
nice glass study; like the person in the boat. foot might be a little small, but that was just at first glance. anyway, keep up the posting man; g'luck with the scanner. welcome. :)

I hope you don't mind the cross-posting.
these are from yesterday. I am getting a bit more comfortable with drawing this big and standing, but still mess up a lot :(
These are all about 30mins I guess, in chronological order:
