Hey I have another question. What can I do to improve my drawing skills? I have the basics down and i do have some skill but I really wanna take it to the next level. I hear that anatomy studies really work well but I dont even know what anatomy studies are. Are they just drawing stuff that is in an anatomy book? welp that is all I wanna know thanx

yes, anatomy studies ARE just drawing anatomy. (not just in books) to get a grasp on the human body, or any other being for that matter, try to draw from life, secondly from a photo, lastly from another drawing, you may pick up on the former artist's mistakes and make your own on top of them.

sit and draw anyone! your mother, your roommate, etc. life is the best teacher. also, try and and study a model skeleton (like in science class) study the bones, how they link and move, what their limitations are, know their size ratios in comparison to each other. know where the muscles and other tissues connect to the bones, how and why they work. there are many books for reference, most are easily found too.

hope that helped, and good luck!

Just to add to that, try to focus what you study, maybe the upper arm or the thigh, and learn what you can about that anatomy. Also, when you're studying it, try and apply what you're learning to actual drawings. Do a sketch of someone then add the skeleton/muscles to it to see where they would go. This he;ps a lot when working without references
