Hi guys, I'm new so sorry if there are any glitches or my images don't show up! I am a good friend of JoshuatheJames and a former collge roommate of Mcnallysim. Both of them have been nagging me to get logged on and share some of my art and I guess they finally gave up. Well here are a couple of pieces that show what I like to do. This first one is a creature I painted in Photoshop. The second is just a xerox with warm grey markers on top. I tried uploading these images (using the IMG button)again and if they don't work I may need some friendly assistance. I've never posted on the internet before. What's up!!!??? There has been a lot of talk about your new website!! Its awesome!! You just keep getting better and more versitile! How's life been treating you? I am trying to get my own website put together using Adobe GoLive but my computer is having a hard time handling it and freezes up alot. How long did it take you to learn HTML? We should get a CCAD thread going sometime. Well I got to go and I'll talk to you later. Love to hear what your up to!!

It looks like you haven't uploaded them to an image host...Now, if you have, and I'm misreading this, then aww well...But...

I use Pyxz as my image host. They're free, and allow 25 images (under 1 meg and image) to be hosted. Try them out if your not looking to host TONS of artwork.

The bad part is that you've chosen Geocities... they dont allow image leeching.:(

Do you know of a site that does allow leeching?? The first Image I uploaded from geocities appeared and then dissapeared, which is strange. Sorry for the trouble guys. Please grant me any patience you have left.

Thanks for the compliment!! Were you able to see the first image on the "conceptart.org" forum or did you check it out at geocities. I can't see the drawing on my computer at all.
Do you know of a good hosting site that works well for message boards and lets people with hotmail acounts sign up?

Geocities is weird like that. If you drag the broken image icons into your adress bar you'll be able to see the images. And when you then return to this forum thread the images are in your browser's memory/cache so then they do show up.

anyway, I looked at it and thats some really nice work.
the green monster dude looks friendly. Its the eyes i think.

Hey Jeff, cool to see that you finally jumped on the bandwagon. THose new guys look hilarious! (the ones with the buck-teeth) One thing though, Next time you post, put your stuff in the "Its Finally Finished" section. A lot more people will see it there. YOu should get together a cross-section of your portfolio to post, with a little bit of everything. Put in some of your vehicles from Jedi Starfighter along with any Red Rock stuff you're allowed to show. And some costume drawings wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Hey Jeff,

Man, I haven't talked to you in a while! I'm glad you like my site and that you feel that way about my artwork. I saw one of your new drawings. Dude, your work has really improved! Not that it wasn't good before. It's amazing how people can evolve so much in just a few years. Your drawings are much more animated, it has more life and character, detail in the right areas, inspiring stuff. I wanna see more.

Lifes been pretty good. That sucks about your computer freezing up whenever you try to work on your website. It didn't take me very long to learn the code to html, one of the artists at ADVFilms here, Sedone, showed me. I relied almost entirely on Dreamweaver (website program) though because it was faster to build my site, which Chad the art director here showed me how to use.

Yeah man, it could be fun to start a CCAD thread, we'd have to talk to Josh and Sean, maybe Keron Grant or anyone else about it.

Yeah, I'll talk to you later and let you know whats been going on these past few years. You can contact me through email, which my email address is on my website. Also, I agree with Sean, post your work in the "it's finally finished section", a little bit of everything. I think a lot of people will really enjoy your work.

Thanks for the compliments, and technical help!! I'll definately take the advice and post some of my work in the its finally finished section. I will also post the two images from this thread as well from a different host site so hopefully the images will be crisper and not have that anti-aliasing gook. I'll try to post my stuff tonight in the It's finally finished area but I have some friends coming over so it might be late. --Murchie
