Hello. I'm a total newbie when it comes to drawing on paper. I have almost no experience, but am very interested in learning how to draw well.

So do you know a few books that can teach me the basics like composition, perspective, lighting and shadows....

What are the good books for human anatomy that are not to complex to start with?

Thanks in advance.

Just take a look at this thread (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3358) - it should keep you busy reading for a while...

Hey, I think you should start here, vilppu's probably one of the better teachers if you want to learn how to draw, especially out of your head-

Other than that just draw stuff from life a lot. Don't get caught up thinkin you need certain books to learn how to draw right, mostly comes down to practice from life. That link has all of vilppu's drawing book, it's really good.
