Just a doodle I made at work. I'm thinking of making a digital painting of it.. maybe. Without ref with pencil.

the line work and value have nice variations, what bothers me is the composition. it is a mountain peak centered on the page.

John might have a point here. The individual mountain looks good. But what about the background? Perhaps something you could think about before coloring it.

But even then a pencil version could even be more impressive.

I agree with humpface, about the composition and line work. (how many pencils did you use hb 2b 3b?) I think clouds would help a lot, and moving the mountain either left or right, so it's not so paramount. But I wouldn't change this drawing, i'd start another one.

I was actually thinking of a nice cold cloudscape in the back, and position the mountain more to the right of the whole.

Made this doodle with a level for an expansion pack for Myth II in mind.
A level called: Under the Mountain, A dwarven map ala Khazad-dûm:D
