sorry for asking this stupid question, but i am really curious about what brush you guys use mostly. is it the flat round brush, feathered round brush, natural brushes, textured brushes, etc?

i know this sounds stupid but is it wrong/considered cheating or whatever, to use brushes other than the flat round brush/feathered round brush to paint? i have been visiting art forums and whenever there is an artwork done in photoshop, the brushstrokes really seem like they were done using the round brushes, with round edges everywhere. this is killing me man...

Zakarian, it's forbidden to use another brush...don't say you did! If so, i would look for a good advocate...

It's totally up to you, which brush you want to use...the main thing is, that you're comfortable with your brush, that's it :)

I personally try and avoid the round brush as much as possible. But really, whatever gets the job done. Don't worry about "what's right" and "what's wrong," just be conscious of what effect you are going for. :)

I'll don't even try to use photoshop right, I color every where and cut off what I don't need ,meaning I never knew there were useful brushes
