Design a Logo!!

Hi everyone.
I play drums for a band called "Sum of One".
And I want some ideas for a new logo.
So everyone please help me out, by designing a creative new logo.
If i see one i like, the winner will get a free advertising link on my band's website.

what kind of musik do you play? if you play metal thers usual with skulls and so on i think it would make it easier for the ones that want to help

Yeah. If you play rock of any kind, try a skull. Then go into detail and add on the special things of your style, for instance if you play Punk, give the skull a mohawk! Now lemme advertise^^

We Actually play Christian rock, the style is similar to Jimmy Eat World, or Switchfoot. But it doesnt have to be related to that...I thought since this is an art forum maybe some artistic people could think something up for me.
maybe something related to an arrow, or street sign, or anything.

Hey there,

Here are 2 quickies I thought of. The first one uses symbols for "sum" (addition), "of" (equals), and the numeral one. The symbols are Sum equals one, or sum of one. The negative space of the equal symbol and the added circle in the numeral form a crucified figure, to go with your christian genre.

The next one is similar but uses a plus sign (Sum) as a cross, and "O" for the "Of" to imply scripture or an old style language, and a "1" numeral again. The rays are implying divinity or heaven, or sun, etc.

Try maybe something like a cross, but instead of having a normal line going through it at a right angle, maybe have the arrow pointing slightly upwards to symbolise heaven. In the arrow you could then write sum of one.
Or maybe even like this:

Right now I'm kinda trying to stear clear of a cross in the logo, just because it's kinda cliche or whatever...
