[[NEALO + KINOKUNIYA's GROUP SKETCH THREAD!]] UPDATED March 3 -Sketching to music-

Hello everyone!

My friend Kinokuniya (AKA Jascha) and I (AKA Neal) decided to start a group sketch thread that will feature various drawing exercises and themes. We will try our best to keep it a daily thread, and if we are late, we will scan and upload as soon as possible. We will be periodically changing the exercise/game/whatever in order to make things interesting and challenge ourselves in different ways.

Our first exercise consists of both of us listening to the same song and sketching what comes to mind. The song for the first sketch is:

Jascha chose that song, and I will choose the next song. The idea here is to see how music can effect our art and to see two very different interpretations of a song. We'll be updating as soon as possible. Probably by tomorrow.

Well the drawings from the first song have been drawn and updated. Now, it's time for the second song. This time I got to choose the song. I chose:

Thanks Jascha for your kind words. Your Squarepusher picture is awesome. I like the guy with huge eyes. The orbital one is amazing! The idea is awesome as well as the shading. I love it! The girls face is very well done.

Sorry about the delay, I've had a lot of homework and no scanner. I finally got it updated however. Here is my artistic interpretation of Orbital- "Transient"

I've also chosen the next song. Jascha, I think this should be our last song and that we should shift to another activity. What do you think? I think we should go with the character (warrior -> housewife) thing. We'll decide on something... I just think we should change it up now.
