Ok I have just recieved my wacom intuos 3 tablet and i am trying to use it in photoshop. according to the brush settings the shape dynamics are set to use pen pressure control. The driver is installed and everything and the pen will put lines on the screen, but i am varing my pressure and i am not getting any change in my brush, its the same as if i use my mouse.
I am sure that i am missing some option but i dont know what. can anyone help?

Yeah i had that problem a lil while ago, i use PS7 and an intuous2, but i'm pretty sure its the same system, when u load up the wacom control panel, make sure u set the chosen application to PS and the tool as the pen, u can then just leave the wacom control panel open if u need to change anythin.
Hope that helps.

ok i tried your suggestion but it still didnt work. i know the tablet funcitions, as i have run through the details sections of the tablet properties and can get differant lines. must be some other setting. thanks anyway. i also noticed that the eraser doesnt work so for some reason the options of the tablet are not functioning inside of photoshop. basicly its like i bought a $450 mouse :-p

reboot. i also have that all the time. as far as i know on one ever came up with a solution for that problem besides "make sure you got the latest drivers yadda yadda" bullshit.

reboot photoshop, it's something about your USB config, mine started doing that when i replaced my USB ports. I found this was because before it used to auto load the wacom control, but after i got some new ports it didn't, all i do now is open the control before PS.
I hope this applies to you, good luck! :yayca:
