Beautiful... not sure what's going on with the BG but the figure (head especially) is wonderful!
Great work!

Hi
I'm still trying serveral ways to paint, but I use to do some general shapes with the lasso tool and painting over with a hard round shape brush, becouse I like the textures that makes, also I use a quite big size for the page, opening an instance to see how looks smaller, during the process i add a texture to make detail o the materials... in fact is dificult to explain perfectly.
I have post some steps of that painting.
I hope that gives to you an idea.

Nice, the concept is a bit hard to read but I like the direction you are heading.
This is a bit off topic but I have comments on your website that you may find interesting: You might want to consider down sizing the images, at least the rough ones. Even at 1280*1024 it's hard to get a sense of the whole image. Also I was having trouble opening the 2d/3d sections with Firefox. It worked fine with IE, you might want to look into that.
I dig your work, keep it up bro!

try to avoid cropping off any of the structure of the figure (feet area in this example). It's something the professional market just loathes for various reasons.

Agreed. It's real nice, but it was an awesome bonus to see the progress. Good work.

Excellent work, I love your style. I was wondering what your process was.
