I'm a special effects freak (the real SFX, not cg stuff) and got into it cause it's my stepdads job. So, we sumblet upon the website of Spectral Motion, the guys behind pretty much all the sfx in hellboy. Go to www.spectralmotion.com and check out the demo reel on hellboy (rest of the site pretty cool too, even some CA there). It's some top notch work if I've ever seen it, I was surprised at how much they did with anamatronics instead of cg.
