Naw -they haven't broken up.I like em but am not a huge fan.One of the guys was on the radio today(or yesterday)talking to the dj about this subject. He said they're just taking a break-but not broken up.BTW the station was KROQ in los angeles and the djs were kevin and bean(if that means anything).Gwen Stefani said the same thing about No Doubt when asked about rumors of them breaking up.I wouldn't worry about it.

yeh good one muffinman. Lets all jump on the bandwagon of dissing musicions of genres we dont listen to. Haha arent todays punk bands funny? Haha arent rappers who rap about bling funny?
I listen to pretty much any music that comes my way, even if its to say "ok, listened to it, didnt dig it, delete. I respect all musicians because they have made something of themselves (whether its solely through the music or through commercial endeavor as well, were all guilty of it so dont preach about purity to me). There is nothing offensive, backward, distasteful, cheap or self-serving about blink 182's lyrics. Some songs are totally teenybopper and some are more meaningful. Some songs have a lot of emotion in them and have helped me through some tough nights. They have a good sound to them and have also made a good go of it with their branding and so on. Ill be the first to have a voice against mass consumption, but you now it has nothing to do with that. Its like an artists promoting themselves by selling prints, doing feature articles in magazines, making spot appearances etc... theyr not making chinese slaves stitch shoes for them or any of the greedy corporate stuff we all hate.
Now frankly if you dont like their music mate, i couldnt give a fuck. Go find someone who cares about your opinions. These guys will be better at what they do than you will ever be. You have no just cause to come on here and talk shit. The next time you paint something that i dont like, im gonna tell you man. "Well mate i really dont like that painting at all. It has a blue dog in it. Man you really suck for painting a blue dog".
Open your eyes man and stop living out other peoples realities. Doosh.
:bashful:

most signed bands arent that great, i mean its 90 percent luck and 10 percent hard work becoming the next big thing, they just had the right sound at the right time
