I'm wanting to be able to write (as in, detailedly) in bright primary colors and in white over some layers of Prisma, complete with blender on the top level. What media would you reccomend for this, categorically excluding the Digital?

it's gonna be difficult with the waxy surface of the prisma pencils, but black india ink or a sharpie marker should work fine.

if there's any trouble with adhesion, spray some workable fixative on the drawing before the ink. if you don't have any fixative, hairspray can work too.

you'll have to fix the final drawing with a clear coat when your done, otherwise the ink can scratch off easily (which is a great way to make homemade scratchboard).

hope that helps.

I use Prisma Pencils in my work. I work on both sides of vellum to avoid too much buildup. I don't advise trying anything but ink. If you need to fix it, Prisma actually makes a fixative specifically for it's pencils. it is the only one I've found that does dull or yellow the pencil. Hope that helps.
