Hi im a 17year :perv: old male from sweden, maybe this is the wrong place to post this thread in but i didnt really find one that sounded better to post in, maybe theres already a post like this, but im just a lazy bum :^^;:

Anyways i was wondering if theres any like Guide/tutorial on the internet on how to make concept art creatures/buildings? ;)

Im also in 2 years gonna take classes at a art school in stockholm.

concept art takes a whole lot of learning and preparation to become any good at it. Hard to be taught concept art. Might be immpossible. Can have guidance in art and that's pretty much what concept art is. Learning different ways to paint draw all that stuff affectively. and then add your own little creative twists to it. Learn how to draw and paint extensively and you'll be good to go for concept art.

Just draw designs of monsters and stuff in the meantime. No tutorial in the world can do the work for you.

Figure out what it is you like about those artists. Emulate them for a bit but realize eventually you will be counted to come up with YOUR own style and vision. They had to do it as well. So in the meantime, look at what works with those drawings, learn the forms, shapes & ideas, copy their techniques and then evolve it into something that you can claim to be yours.
