Did anyone else attend the final fantasy symphony concert this weekend in chicago? what were your thoughts?

I personally thought it was a really good show. Perfect music to fit into that sort of presentation.

I was dissapointed when they didn't play any FF Tactics songs, but then I found out that the main composer for the FF music didn't work on that game. :( (which sucks cause that was my personal favorite of all the FF soundtracks by far)

I was so nerd giddy when they busted out a compilation of the old school themes from the original game.

Another highlight came as we were coming out of the show, and some guy in a passing car yelled "Penny arcade sucks!" haha. I couldnt agree more :confident

What were other people thoughts on the show?

Yep awesome time!

I WAS THERE! (well.. duh ... seated right next to ya.)

I was amazed at just how good it was, the Chicago symphony is very talented it seems .. and the choir was great!

I had my DS hooked up, before it started and during intermission. At any of those given moments a good 20 people were jumping in and out of games or Pictochat.
Was really a cool experience to basically Instant Message random people at the same even within 200 feet and jump into some Metroid with them.

good times, I'll be going to the next one for sure!
